Election commitment cost questioned

LABOR is asking the state opposition to reveal how it will pay for its latest election commitment for the Sunshine Coast.

TIM NICHOLS stopped by yesterday- to announce an elected LNP Government would finance half the total cost to start work on the $430 Million Mooloolah River Interchange.

He says the project would improve safety and traffic congestion from the Sunshine Motorway to Nicklin Way.

The other half of funding would be sought from the Federal Government.
