Pedestrian fatal info appeal

Police are still trying to piece together the final movements of a man before he was hit and killed by a car at WOOMBYE on FRIDAY night.

The 54-year old was reportedly walking west on Nambour Connection Road at about 11:30pm, when a vehicle driven by a 24-year old woman struck him.

The forensic Crash Unit is asking anyone who was driving between the Bruce Highway turnoff and Kiel Mountain Road overpass between 11 and 11:30pm- to contact them.
