Give Me 5 Hidden Hearts is a community art experience where creativity, generosity, and surprise come together to make a real difference.
We’re inviting everyone to take part — from renowned artists and emerging creatives to hobby painters and first-time makers. If you love creating, you belong in this project.
Hidden Hearts is built on a simple but powerful idea: small anonymous artworks, created by the community, exhibited together and sold to support sick children on the Sunshine Coast.
What makes it special is the surprise. Every artwork is displayed without the artist’s name, and when the exhibition opens, buyers discover what they’ve purchased only after taking it home. That means a piece by a local hobbyist could sit alongside — and be purchased next to — a work by a highly recognised artist, all for a fixed price of $100.
This creates a rare and exciting mix: for collectors, a chance to uncover hidden gems and even unexpected works from established artists; for emerging creators, a unique opportunity to exhibit and sell alongside leading talent in a truly equal, anonymous space.
To take part, you’ll receive a small art card in the mail and are invited to transform it into an original artwork in any medium you choose.
Examples of mediums include:
• Acrylic painting
• Watercolour
• Pencil or charcoal drawing
• Ink or pen illustration
• Collage
• Textile or fibre art
Once complete, your artwork becomes part of a professionally curated anonymous exhibition, where every piece is valued equally and every “Hidden Heart” holds a story waiting to be discovered.
All artworks will be professionally framed by Sunshine Coast Art & Framing Gallery.

Every artwork will be available for $100, with all proceeds supporting sick children and their families on the Sunshine Coast through Wishlist, our local hospital charity. Presented by Mix FM’s Give Me 5, Hidden Hearts turns creativity into care in the most unexpected way.
Whether you’re an established artist or simply making for joy, your work will sit alongside others as part of something meaningful, anonymous, and unforgettable.
