The All-abilities Games

The All-Abilities Games brings all people, including people with a disability, their families, sporting organisations and communities together to create greater access, opportunity, connection and belonging through sport. The Games provide both Come & Try participatory experiences and competitive opportunities, recognising that everyone should have choice in how they participate and where they want their sporting journey to take them.

Through partnerships with inclusive sporting clubs, community organisations and pathway providers, participants can discover new sports, develop skills and connect with opportunities that continue beyond Games Day. Facilitated by The Lavender Sky Foundation, the Games are designed to help build stronger pathways from first participation through to community sport, competition and leadership. Every Body. Every Ability. Every Opportunity.

The All-Abilities Games will be held on Saturday 31 October 2026 at the Sunshine Coast Sport and Recreation Precinct in Currimundi, from 9.30 am until approximately 2.00 pm.

The Games, created through The Lavender Sky Foundation bring inclusive sports, exhibition games, come-and-try activities, and community support organisations together in one accessible event.
The aim is to create opportunities for people of all abilities to participate, discover new sporting pathways, connect with their community and experience the sense of belonging that sport can provide.
