The Australian Skin Cancer Foundation’s Skin Check Truck is a life-saving initiative touring high-risk regions like the Sunshine Coast, providing FREE skin checks to locals and raising awareness about melanoma prevention. With Queensland having one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, this mobile clinic is a critical tool in the fight against late-stage melanoma diagnoses.

Skin Check Truck Locations:
• Sunday, 10 August 2025
Maroochydore Surf Club (8am – 4pm)

• Monday, 11 August 2025
University of the Sunshine Coast (Car Park 8) (8am – 4pm)

Following a successful visit in 2024, the Skin Check Truck is returning to the Sunshine Coast in August 2025, giving the community an easy, accessible opportunity to get checked by specialist melanographers. The initiative also educates locals about early detection, sun safety, and the importance of regular skin checks, aiming to reduce skin cancer’s devastating impact on Queensland families.
