For one week, Archie & Bretz have teamed up with Threads 4556 to go on the ultimate boot hunt across the Sunshine Coast — and they’re looking for the worst, oldest, most worn-out pair of boots in town.
We’re talking cracked leather, busted soles, faded stitching and years of hard yakka. The kind of boots that have seen it all — long days, tough jobs and plenty of stories in every scuff.
If your boots are looking a little… tragic… this is your moment.
Each day on the show, Archie & Bretz will ask listeners to call that have a seriously sad pair of boots and tell the story behind them — how long you’ve had them, what they’ve been through and why they’ve well and truly earned retirement.
At the end of the week, our finalists will be invited into the studio for the ultimate Red Carpet Boot Parade.
That’s right — your boots will be strutted, celebrated and filmed as Archie & Bretz showcase the Coast’s most legendary footwear.
Photos and videos of the finalists will then be uploaded to our socials, where the Sunshine Coast gets to vote:

On Monday morning, the owner of the winning pair will score a brand new pair of iconic Australian boots from R.M. Williams, thanks to Threads 4556.
